Galaxy S25Although the Galaxy S25 is powered by the high-end Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, meaning performance isnโt typically a concern, some users have reported occasional display issues. These include scrolling lag and, in a few cases, screen flickering โ a behavior noted by CoolteyFeng on Reddit. However, such reports are relatively limited, suggesting that these display problems are not widespread. Itโs also quite possible that the issue is related to software rather than hardware.

Galaxy S25- Your Always-On Display (AOD) software might be the culprit: One possible fix is to enter Safe Mode and uninstall the AOD app, though this will disable the Always-On Display feature entirely. Another option is to perform a factory reset (instructions found below) but keep in mind that if the issue requires a software update from Samsung, a reset might not resolve it.

Galaxy S25Shame on you for advising someone to uninstall an app that's not only part of the system, but is uninstallable. You are encouraging someone to damage the way their system works. Better to give no advice at all than to give advice like that.

Galaxy S25The AOD should have nothing to do with lag on your device. It uses no processing power, but it does marginally use the battery, even so, no need to uninstall it, just turn it off - it uses nothing if it's not active. I'd advise you not to follow the advice of the user above. If there is a scroll lag, it may be because of background processes. Screen flicker could be attributed to almost anything. Under what circumstances is your screen flickering?

Galaxy S25After re-reading your post, it appears that *you* are not the one actually having an issue, but merely making a statement. You don't appear to be asking for help or remedies.

Galaxy S25Happy New Year in Advance
I will share with you quick fixes I use for any glitches to the system. Only use notifications for apps that you use and turn off for emails as you can always refresh manually.
Gallery app doesn't need notifications. Developer mode can be used altogether to disable HW overlays and also to protect sensitive data and account intrusions. Most people will panic and take their phone in. Restart once with developer mode on and check for previous sign ins on devices you no longer use for email accounts.
Let me know if any of this helped.
