I've had conversations with my carrier and Samsung both. Neither of them seem to know why we're getting this message saying unable to download. Samsungs last resort was a factory data reset. I declined. I've done every self help tip I can find and still get the same message. I dunno what's going on. Maybe it'll get fixed soon. Kinda lame.
When we received the February update, I tried to update my S25 Ultra, but it wouldn't update and gave this message: "Couldn't update. Try updating using Smart Switch on your computer or contact Customer Service." Everything is updated on the phone. I tried restarting and loading safe mode, but nothing seems to work.
Have you tried smart switch? I know that may seem cumbersome and I agree as your own internet connection should be good enough. But in the end, it would not hurt to see if you can get the update through that process.
I tried that on my computer, and it didn't see the phone at all. Smart Switch on the computer is looking for another computer, not a phone. The phone was connected to other apps like Dex and Gallery on the computer
Have you tried a direct connection like using a C to USB A connection wire to connect to your PC port? Newer PCs even have type C ports for a C to C connection.
