Got the phone on feb 6th, everything has been fine. last night, the 10th, I went to plug the charging cable in and it didn't do anything. I wiggled the charger closest to the phone and it popped up as charging. I moved the phone and it stopped charging. finally it started charging and continued charging no matter how I moved the phone or the cable.

Galaxy S25Hello, Welcome and thank you for being part of the Community. We understand how concerning it is when your phone is not charging correctly.
Have you tested the phone in Safe Mode to see if an app is causing the behavior? https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/
You can also try the troubleshooting steps here: https://www.samsung.com/ph/support/mobile-devices/what-to-do-if-your-galaxy-phone-is-not-charging/
We also recommend optimizing your device: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPo4h2og_bE
You can also test the phone by opening the Members app, tap on the Support Tab and run diagnostics for your phone.
We also recommend submitting feedback while in the Members app: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692
In the event the troubleshooting is not helpful, it is recommended to have the phone evaluated at an authorized service location. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.
If you are still in the exchange period, you can also reach out to the retailer for exchange options.
