Any other s25 ultra owners out there having issues with the lower media speaker after the most recent update? Mine updated overnight and it started sounding terrible a few hours later.

Hello, Welcome to the Community. We understand how frustrating it is for the speaker to start crackling.

You can try the troubleshooting here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001255/

@Tom6068's suggestion to clear the cache partition can also help.

We also recommend running the diagnostics in the Members app under the Support tab to test the speaker.

If you continue to experience the poor audio from the speaker, service is recommended. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by calling customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

For service outside the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html

That stinks, at least I'm not alone. Did you have any luck with samsung support? They basically told me sending it in was my only option. I can't be without my phone for an entire week for business. Dunno what I'm gonna do now except wait foe the next update and hope it fixes it..

Do this; hold both the volume down and the power buttons down at the same time. You then will get the power off/restart etc screen. Click on restart and as soon as the device goes black, press and hold the volume up and power buttons at the same time until you get to the recovery screen.

Using the volume button to move the highlight up or down, move it to "Wipe cache partition", then click the power button, use volume again to choose "Yes", then click the power button again, It should then default back to the top under "Reboot system now" and just hit the power button. See if that helps after it comes back up.
