[S25 Ultra] - Pulse measuring feature removed?

Why did Samsung remove the pulse feature etc on the phone? Some of us still like to record this data and not pay a Grand for the watch! Similar to Microsoft force us to buy a new computer!!

If your referring to using the flashlight to measure it that was removed years ago in lean to people wearing smartwatch that measures heart rate continuously.

Cannot debate the timing since I recently updated from the S10+ to the S25 Ultra. Thanks for the response however!

Yeah I believe the s10's were the last to have a built in pulse oxi

If my S10 lite had it, I never knew about it.

The s10 lite didn't have it since it was a stripped down version of the S10 line and didn't come with the blood oxygen or pulse sensors.

Ok. Thanks for clarifying, doubt I would have used it anyway. I bought my watch 2 and the S10 lite at the same time. PS - the S10 lite didn't feel very stripped down to me. So much so, that I wondered why they called it the lite version.

How do you expect the phone to take your pulse?  It was not removed, it was never there in the first place. The watches do not cost "a grand" even if you are purchasing an Ultra model.  $200-600 is the norm across all models (new), cheaper if you buy last years' model or a used/refurbished one.  Or you can buy a Fitbit which, I believe, is cheaper.

They use to have a pulse oxi you had to use the camera flash to measure it.
