So, I upgraded from my S22 Ultra. On that phone, there were countless times I would want someone to hear something like a song, or a TV episode, but the call's background filter would eliminate EVERYTHING! And I do mean everything!
Now, I have the S25 Ultra and they can hear EVERYTHING! And I do mean everything!
They can hear every word in a song. If I'm outside, they can hear a car go by. If I am walking in my home and the TV is on they can hear the TV as I enter the room.
There is no call background filter or cancellation on this phone!!
This is a major disadvantage and needs to be fixed ASAP!While our devices are great forn information at your fingertips, the major purpose of our phones is communication and when that's disrupted, that's a problem!
1. You have to be on an active call. 2. Swipe down from the left side of your screen to bring up the notifications. 3. Then swipe down again in the upper left. 4. This will then display a focus option. 5. Select this and checkmark the voice focus.
Hope this helps. It's an odd location & methodology to get to this feature.

Ya, there's a lot of us that have this model (S25 Ultra) that wish we had stuck with our previous device handset!!
I have had nothing but issues with this phone!
For me, I wish I had kept my S22 Ultra.
-Cameras flutter when trying to focus and it happens every single time. -No S-Pen BT support (really miss that, didn't realize how much I used it!) -Constant software issues
