Recording my phone calls

I dont like that feature, by the time im almost with my call i notice thst its veening recorded, Take it out of my phone

The feature shouldn't activate itself. It needs user interaction to do so.

If you don't want the button there, you'll have to use a different dialer app. Phone by Google is a great alternative.

Maybe activating it when tapping screen to wake during a call?

When I tap my phone to wake, I usually tap it in the middle of the screen. The record button is towards the top on the left side of the phone.

The only thing I can figure is they're holding the phone to their ear while it's on speaker, which would disable the proximity sensor. It should not be possible to make any accidental touches because the screen is OFF and will not accept touch input when it is up to your ear!

How do you hold your phone when this gets activated?

You have to physically press it to activate it.
