So about a week and a half ago My RCS will stop working on my Samsung messages on my s25 Galaxy Ultra it still works on my s24 ultra and I don't care for the Google messages app so I always use Samsung messages but when I try to click on the settings to see what's wrong the settings is grayed out and I don't know what happened I haven't had an update or anything so I don't know if it's no longer available on Samsung s25 for the Samsung messages app

RCS support in Samsung messages is being phased out/discontinued. It is recommended to switch to Google Messages to maintain RCS support.

I just got a notice last month from Mint that they've now added RCS, but I'm sticking with Google Messages all the same.

Mint is part of T-Mobile, so that notification is just a reminder. It was never stopped. And yes, Google Messages is cool too, and whatever you like fits your use.

Until recently Mint did not have RCS and directed subscribers to use Google Messages, which is the reason I finally switched.

I stand corrected. Upon further investigation, Mint has always always had RCS; however, their website still directs subscribers to install and use Google Messages.

That they didn't have traditional RCS was an assumption on my part. I apologize for my misunderstanding.

No worries. Thanks for posting that.
I think it's part of the Samsung Google partnership. So they have to announce that switching but they should mention it's optional
