RCS no longer supported in Samsung Messages App

Samsung messages app started malfunctioning about a week ago. Now I have no connection to RCS as chat support says it is no longer supported. This one of the reasons I enjoy Samsung so much becayse of the personalization. I feel like this the equivalent to iPhone take away Imessage. Very disappointed. Is anyone else having this issue?

Use Google messages app. It works perfectly with rcs and Samsung

There are a number of reasons RCS is being discontinued for Samsung Messages. The recommended course of action is switching to Google Messages.

While change can be difficult, you will find that Google Messages is more feature-rich and does a better job of handling interactions (such as tapbacks) with iPhone users.

I understand you can use Google messages, it's just not my preference for a number of reasons. I wish they were continuing to make upgrades to Samsung messages. I preferred it overall as my texting app... I guess I will eventually warm up to Google messages. I hope🫤

Mine either there is zero customization with Google messages. I need my categories. All my text messages are categorized for easy navigation. My RCS stop working with the new update.

Yes, i definitely understand. I finally got mines to displaying an error message somehow but I am not on RCS still..I need my categories for easy navigation as well. Thats another reason I cannot stay on Google messages.

Exactly, if they added the same customization to Google messages I would use it. Im on chat right now with Samsung messages support. If they can fix it for me ill try and share the information.

RCS is working fine with Samsung message app on my Verizon s25 ultra

Hey just got the s25 ultra and im coming from iPhone. First Samsung since original iPhone. But I have noticed my signal bars are small. Seen YouTube creators s25s do videos on phone and the bars I see in video looks different than mine. Anyone know anything about this. Thanks
