Phone overheating

I am unable to get far away to bring phone to nearest place to check battery. I do NOT game on this phone yet it gets hot. I have tried to hold the "volume down " & "power" but the phone will NOT bring up the options to clear cache. I regret being roped into buying this phone at this price as T-Mobile deceived me in their business dealings. I have been a long time Samsung user but never had problems until this Galaxy s25. Can anyone tell me why the menu to clear cache won't even come up?

And I set up my phone to double tap the home icon on the nav bar to take a screen shot.  The screen shot feature with the side buttons has always been by default to just a press of both buttons simultaneously and the press and hold was the restart.  If you set it up differently, more power to you. That's what options are about.

I'm thinking that the only difference between us on this is that I hide my nav buttons and swipe instead, but you're right, one of the best things that I like about owning a Samsung device is the options and customizations available.

I found the button pressing awkward, pulling down the quick panel bothersome, the palm swipe inconsistent. The nav bar double press doesn't require any effort. I believe one can set a back tap action in the RegiStar module. You triple tap or double tap the back of your phone for one of the preset actions.

if you download good guardians from galaxy app store than download thermal guardians it will show you what apps are making your phone hot

Yes, the thermal guardian will give you insight, but you can also run a diagnostic on your battery.
