Hello. Everyone that has Pre Ordered a Galaxy S25, S25+ or S25 Ultra, you can post any order or tracking updates here.

This thread is for Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra pre-orders!

Usually, we try to include the following information:

Then, once it ships, please come back and post an update with the same information above, but the actual stated shipping and delivery dates, and maybe even let us know once it's received.

Samsungs own TVs still use IR. They still haven't fixed the issue with The Frame blocking the IR receiver on the TV when you put the accent frame on it.

Some of these removals, like the HR sensor, are justifiable because legitimately it was a bad experience and watches fix most of the problems by the inherent benefits of the form factor. The MST reader was only useful in the US, and most US stores upgraded to NFC sale systems in the last few years, so it was useless in most of the world and only a backup in the US.

Others, like the IR blaster, SD card slot, headphone jack and removed bluetooth S-Pen, are not so easily justified because they offered a good experience and were removed because samsung wants to push the user into the hardware ecosystem.

No IR blaster? Just get a Samsung TV and hook it into smarthings.
No SD slot? Just make sure you pre-order your new phone before the reviews are out so you can get a free storage upgrade.
No headphone jack? Galaxy buds start at about a hundred bucks and they constantly give bonus credit towards them in pre-order deals.
No more remote shutter built directly into the ultra? Just buy a watch or ring, conveniently on its first ever sale right now.

Running defense for these removals is why samsung is comfortable stripping away new features every year.

And also why Samsung isn't getting my money this year. The removing of the BT from the S-pen was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Middle frame? I'm sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about. While I do personally think the S24U was a better looking phone, and S23U and S22U before it, I wouldn't say the S24 Ultra is ugly. Maybe a bit plain, but many people prefer the understated look.

I am thinking of upgrading my s24 plus to the s24 ultra. I've only had my s24 for a few months because I didn't upgrade immediately last year. I came from a Note 20 ultra before the s24. Something I never liked was the quality of the camera on this phone, especially the front facing. My Note 20 ultra took amazing selfie and the pictures had the perfect saturation, exposure, brightness..everything. I am thinking of upgrading back to the s25 Ultra for these reasons. Do you think the front facing camera is going to be better? I know it is the same 12mp, but everything looked better on my Note 20 ultra.

I'd upgrade to the S24U just for the bigger battery and you keep all the features from the 20U aside from the SD card slot.
