New S25 Ultra - Notifications not working

Howdy!

Received my new S25 Ultra yesterday, set it up via SmartSwitch. Everything transferred correctly but none of my notifications are working. 
 
Zero.
 
I have gone though forum postings that other people have posted looking for solutions and most of those has been DND or a routine turned on blocking notifications. 
 
Things I've checked:
 
  • Do Not Disturb is TURNED OFF.
  • No Modes or Routines are running (there aren't any setup).
  • Sound is on.
  • Vibrate is on.
  • No icons or app badges show up on the top.
  • The apps that I am testing with I have confirmed that notifications are turned on.
  • All the options are selected for the notification options (Lock Screen, App icon badge, Notification pop-up).
  • This happens if the phone is sleeping or awake.
  • My old phone is still using Wi-Fi and notifications work fine on that one (other than messages and phone cause that's tied to the SIM). Turning off the old phone and waiting a few minutes and trying on the new phone, same thing happens.
  • If I open the offending app, I can see the unread messages.
Other than wiping the phone, skipping the SmartSwitch and starting from scratch, I am not sure how to move forward.

Just want to say that I got the latest one ui update yesterday morning. I did not use adb after rebooting and I'm getting push notifications now. Some delayed like gmail but at least they come in. Samsung must have done something as it's not quite as bad as it was before.

And yeah I also wish they would state what has changed in each release.

Turned the phone on this morning. Got a couple of notifications for emails but nothing else. I opened WhatsApp half hour later and find I actually had 4 messages overnight that it had not notified me about at all. And this is an app I had completely cleared and reinstalled fresh to try to fix this **bleep** weeks ago.

4 monthly updates later and it's still not working properly. This phone is a joke.

Has anyone found any sort of fix for this? I've tried all the things listed in OPs post as well as turning off doze via ADB and still no luck. I just got the s25+ today and am getting ZERO notifications but I'm watching them come through on my old phone immediately.

Got s25u new - smart switch only to sync messages. Same issue,  basically no notifications from any apps besides a few,  and no work notifications makes this an instant bust. Going to be returning all samsung products i just purchased

 

EDIT: Issue was that I was setting up the device behind NextDNS - Factory Reset and setup on a different network resolved my issues!

Same issue as well. All notifications delayed until I get back on WiFi. I'm missing eufy doorbell notifications, WhatsApp, everything... all find on my s23u

Could this be the DOZE issue? If my phone is on cellular only, I get no push notifications whatsoever. If on WiFi, I get all my notifications immediately after I unlock my phone. All the usual settings and notifications settings are adjusted with battery optimizations off and sleep apps off. There used to be a fix for this through ADB but now that I'm updated to One UI7, it seems like the ADB solution no longer works.

I just got a S25 and half my notifications don't work... Tried all the solutions in this thread and it's not working. Discord, Steam, Steam Chat, Uber, Uber Eats, I'm not getting push notifications for any of these and it's so bloody annoying.

I have a similar issue but it pertains ONLY to work profile apps. Two different watches - garmin 970 forerunner and Samsung Ultra - same result. Please fix this this or post a fix.

So, this issue appears unique to the S25 and the latest update.  Everyone experiencing this issue needs to put in an error report on it.  It will not be addressed or fixed from comments here, as the Samsung development team does not act on issues brought up in the forum.  The only official way to let them know, and to let them know how widespread it is, is to send the error reports and your device logs.
