This is my 4th or 5th Samsung phone in the last year or two. I had the 21+ that kept having charging issues. After the 3rd different phone with same issues I was told try the 25+. Which is my current phone. I continually have charging issues with all these phones. I currently have 10 different chargers/cords that I've bought new. One by one they always stop working. Now I can barely get phone to charge by a wireless charging system. Which is the same issue I've went thru with the last 4 or 5 phones. I've been to Verizon they tell me its a Google update problem. I asked when will that be done, reply I got was when Google decides to๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ. I'm so tired of getting new phones and transferring all my stuff. What is going on, is this happening to others? Just talking to Verizon at this point for the usual 3 hours gets my blood pressure up and my health is in bad shape & high blood pressure is very dangerous for me. Can anybody help? Please

Yea thats weird. I never have had a problem with samsung phones. I have the s25 ultra tho and it's amazing. Maybe u should get an ultra phone instead of the + model since every + model u got had an issue eventually

It's extremely odd that you would  have the exact same issue with multiple Samsung phones.  You may have bought multiple charging blocks, but are they the *correct* charging blocks?  The newest Samsung phones require a more powerful charger (includes wireless chargers) in order to charge properly.  Using older or less powerful charging blocks and cords will result in either very slow/trickle charging or sometimes even discharging.  You need a charging block with a minimum of 25 watts, with 45 watts recommended for super fast charging. You also need a cable capable of handling 45 watts.

I don't understand, though, why if you have phones that had the same exact problem, you keep buying them.

I have gotten what I believe to be the correct chargers/cords. As far as why do I keep getting these junk phones...my husband has been with Verizon for 25 years. There is 4 of us on this plan. I can't use apple, can barely figure out android. Personally I'm ready to run it over with my car๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

Do your husband and the others have Samsung phones or are they using Apple?  If they have Samsung, have they had the same issues?  Seriously, it's highly unlikely that four or five different phones of different models would have the exact same problem for the same user, unless Verizon is giving you used/refurbished phones, which I doubt. Verizon also offers Motorola and Pixel phones, so you don't have to get a Samsung if they are not working for you.  But, my money is on the charging apparatus.

Run a diagnostic on the charging port and battery - you can find diagnostics through the device care settings of your phone.

Hi,
No they all run apple. I've ran the diagnostics on phone and it says the battery is good. I just can't get over the fact this is like the 4th phone. I buy new cords/plugs each time. I literally have a pile of them that are under 6 months old. Like I mentioned I've been to the local Verizon (no help) been to corporate, all they did was send another phone. Then after three times with the 21+ I refused them telling me to get another. So that's how I ended up with the 25+. The last 2 cords/chargers I got last week say a bunch of numbers but 25w max total output power.

25 w would be the minimum need to sustain regular or fast charging - 45 w for super fast and, as I said, the cord also has to be capable of handling the higher wattage, so if you are just buying blocks without the cords, and buying the cords separately, the cords could be the problem.

However, if you feel nothing is working, ask them if you can have a Pixel or a Motorola as a replacement.  Have you tried having them charge it at the Verizon store both with one of your setups and with theirs?

I'm going to ask a ridiculous question, are you plugging the charger into a particular outlet or different outlets - sometimes it's not the charger at all, but the outlet it's plugged  into.

I think in fact its got to be a cord issue. I forgot to mention also on all 4 phones I'd get a blaring beeping saying to remove cord its damaged or water ๐Ÿค” no matter which I'd use. I'd restart phone and it wouldn't do it.
I've had them charge them at Verizon. Some times my dang cords would work for them, other times not. Sometimes theirs worked, and other times not. Thats when they would put in for a new phone order. I've used power strips, power banks and plugged right into wall. Husband just got me a couple new cords . They are by anker ..says 240W - fast charger. The block im using is a travel type where it can go to 2 prong or 3. Not sure of name. But it says 100-250V worldwide. This set up seems to be working for NOW. But then a bit of time the cycle repeats itself all over again. To the point nothing I have will work even tho I have a bunch of new cords and boxes. And no that's not a ridiculous question. Because I did check other outlets and did find one that was tripped up.
This has been the most irritating situation over and over๐Ÿ™„ then calling Verizon im always on phone with them 1-3 hours. I do have my phone to restart every other day.
