Smart select has been replaced by AI select.

AI select is in the Edge panel. If you don't see it on the Edge panel,

1. Open the Edge.panel.
2. Click the pencil at the bottom of the Edge.
3. Click the 3 dots in upper right.
4. Enable AI select.

Smart Select is now AI Select.
You can launch AI Select through the Edge panel, Air Command (if you have an S Pen), or the Screenshots toolbar.
