Many Ringtones and Notification sounds missing on the S24 Ultra to S25 Ultra

I just upgraded from the S24 Ultra to the S25 Ultra. After migrating I noticed that many of the S24 pre-installed ringtones and pre-installed notification sounds were not found on the S25. After numerous calls to Samsung technical support I was able to have a ticket opened to hopefully address this.

I made a list of the S24 and S25 so that everyone can see what changed/removed

Tone from zedge aren't the same quality. Samsung needs to provide these tones through themes app. It's honestly ridiculous getting accustomed to one tone and have to switch every phone we get. Just like they changed the atomic bells ringtone. Sounds muffled. Switch it back and give us access and quit changing already done tones.

Really? This is what's important to you? So Samsung updated their sound catalog, which they are wont to do as a refresh. No need to make a humongous post and spend the time you did making comparisons between two devices and calling Samsung to advise them of the error of their ways. If you decided to buy a different brand, you'd have a different sound catalog. There are even catalog differences between different Samsung models. And they do eliminate and add some with each new model. They just don't do it to the extent they apparently did here. I think it all goes along with their "fresh" new UI.

I guess I disagree with you. I do expect that if I migrated to an iPhone that the sound catalogue would be different. I don't expect that going to the latest phone from previous model would initiate such a change. 

As far as the "fresh" UI, I had the UI 7.0 beta 3 release on my S24 Ultra so the interface update was already in place before migrating to S25 Ultra. I agree that if they were going to make a big change that I would have expected to see the sound catalog changes there. 

There are 4 phones in my family. 3 iOS/iPhones and my Samsung Android. All the upgrades on the iPhones have been seamless. ALL the setting, etc are migrated. That is not the case with Samsung SmartSwitch.

I don't really concern myself with the stock sounds. I don't assign every single one of my contacts with their own ringtone - probably a max of 5. Of those 5, they are all custom sounds I added myself. For apps I either use the app's default sound or choose something from the stock sounds as my default notification sound or ringtone. My phone ringer default is always the closest sound to an old fashioned telephone. So, if Samsung decides to refresh their catalog, it doesn't bother me. Besides, I know how to search for the old sounds, which most assuredly are online somewhere.

Still should have the option to use the galaxy store to download previous tones. We like what we are used to. Sounds like chaos which is a great tone for text messages and general notifications. Atomic bells from the previous series is way better than the muffled bad quality atomic bells the s25's have

People get used to what they like. Maybe instead of elimination, they should expand. Idk. All I know is there's no reason to get nasty with something that you feel is unimportant. Haven't u heard the saying, If you don't have anything nice to say? I know MY mother taught me these MANNERS. Btw, your post wasn't short either!
