I'm locked out of my phone and asking for a 4 digit number including 1 letter. I don't have an idea about the pin. i contacted Samsung technical support and told me to factory reset the phone but i can't lose my data. he asked me to send a feedback to the Samsung members if there's an update to unlock the screen without factory data reset.
This is another one of those brand new user with only one post and I think it's a troll and they're trying to get a rise out of everyone. If it's not, I apologize, but then I have to ask, is it really your phone?
I don't understand how one forgets the pin to their phone. You have to enter it a couple of times a day if you haven't used it in a couple of hours, every morning when you wake up, every time you restart your device.
There is no other way to factory reset
Beware, when you factory reset through the recovery menu you will need the Samsung Account and Google account and passwords to set the phone up again. If you don't have access to any of those, it is now a brick.
This has been a known issue since 2022 or longer! Samsung, this is unexeptable! Imbarassing for Samsung, INDEED! Either you stand behing your name or not! This either needs fixed or we should get a new phone at the expence of Samsung for not fixing this issue, since 3 years!
Allow me to go into detail. I was on Chat GPT and all of a sudden this screen appears to enter a password I never created that is at least 4 characters or more including a letter. I cannot do anything on my phone. I cannot see incoming textes, I cannot make any calls that are not emergencies. I cannot even turn off my phone or restart the phone without this password, I never created! I can only recieve calls. I allowed the battery to fully empty so I can see if it reset, but nothing.
