Galaxy S25Switched to an iphone at my kids urging. Big mistake. They kept telling me how great "face time" was, and that no one else had anything similar. Too late i found out about google meet. I will be getting the latest ultra, but i'm concerned about these battery drains. My neighbor has the s25u, and he doesn't get a full day's worth of battery. He doesn't use it for gaming or anything like that, mostly business calls, but every day about 4 or 5 pm he has to charge it up. maybe i should wait for the s26u? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Galaxy S25I understand that Samsung is working on a fix for the battery drain. No one knows when it will be available, or whether it will be a standalone fix or part of OneUI8. Before you decide whether or not to wait for the S26, ask yourself some questions: Do you need/want all the features of the S series? Do you need all the features of the Ultra? Will you get the features you need from the highest end A series device? I do not expect that there will be much difference feature-wise between the S25 & S26, and if the S26 is going to come with Android 15/OneUI8.0, you may as well get the S25 now, since OneUI8.0/Android 15 is now in Beta and will probably be released before the end of the year. So, even if the fix is included in OneUI8 and not as a standalone, the fix will come soon (not soon enough for some people).
I don't understand why iPhone users go on about FaceTime, it's just a video calling app, and I don't see that it does anything more than any other video chat app does.
