Galaxy S25Idk guys im kinda just disappointed, got a reply from samsung diagnoatic logs stating its been instagram using up my battery and that they were gonna report unusual battery usage to meta services so they can fix the app but i literally started dealing with these issues after the april update. I updated the instagram app after i saw that there was an update available but i dont think its really changed anything. I woke up at 10 am with 70% battery life available this morning and its 1 pm now and my phones at 40% already in just 3 hours. I regret updating my software. Super disappointed. Not to memtion the top left of my phone is also getting warmer now compared to the rest of the device and it is noticeable enough for me to tell. Even if im just running basic apps, even have experienced heating on settings menu.

Galaxy S25@JaMeScRuZ For any OS/UI update, app developers need to update their apps to ensure that they work properly with the new OS/UI. It sounds like the devs determined that the Instagram app may need to be updated by the Meta developers to improve performance with the new OS/UI.
