We need an individual App Locking Feature, what we currently have with the Secure Folder is not good enough or convenient enough. ALL apps should also be able to be individually locked even system apps if we want to for example. Please make an Individual App Locking Feature, Even if it has to go through something like "Good Lock" or something until it makes it into the OS features. Maybe the secure folder capabilities can be enhanced to do this somehow? Thank You!

See look at that, more companies see how being able to lock individual apps is good for security & convenient

Too bad they're mostly Chinese companies whose devices we can't easily get in the States. Except for OnePlus. I'm loving my 13!

Nice! AlsoYeah, although the iPhone also has it which is why I'm surprised Samsung hasn't done individual app lock as well.I've also owned some One Plus devices, I had the 6T a while back it was great.

I also had the 6T. It was decent but the camera sent me running to Samsung. The 13 has been enough to pry me away for now.

OnePlus' Oxygen OS is my favorite OS of all of them. It has its own functions but is still really close to stock android. Actually the OP 12 started with having better cameras and the 13 showed it is an alternative to be a true flagship phone and for the money, it is a better deal. They are still a bit behind in cameras but that would really be a concern for the money spending enthusiast. Their long term support is not with Google or Samsung either with only four years of OS software support and six for security updates. Consumerism comes first. As far as getting an overall high end smartphone with long support and good cameras, Google is the best currently when considering consistency.

Still though, I have never owned a Google phone brand.

I can't imagine a use case for app locks in my life. No one else should be handling my phone, period. Occasionally, I have to hand my phone over to someone at a business so that they can see some information that is on my phone, but I always 'pin' the app before handing it over and I'm grateful for that option. And I'm glad that all my payment and financial apps all lock, as it adds just another layer of security should someone sleal my phone. So, I don't have a need to lock apps down, when my phone is always locked when away from home and not using it. IMHO, I can either trust the people in my home to respect my privacy and not access my phone without permission or there is a larger issue that locking apps won't resolve.

This isn't the first time that someone has made this suggestion.

To each there own, but I certainly don't need it.

I understand how you feel, but many times I let my siblings or parents use my smartphone temporarily. I would just like to be able to lock certain apps & being able to do it individually would be very convenient.

Then why not use the 'kids' option in the Quick Pull down Menu? Then you can load only those apps that you want them to use and everything else is just not there. 1750301342965.jpg

I can just individually lock an app forever and that's it And that's a thousand times convenient They can use the rest of the phone to their hearts content. Not to mention individually locking apps is better for security either way

I completely understand. I'm fortunate that I don't have the need to share my phone with other family members or friends. They all have their own devices.

Besides, the 'kids' does look for kindergarten or preschool-ish.
