I just requested to return my S25 Ultra

After I bought the S25 Ultra with more than $200 discount, it was such a disappointment that I decided to return it.
It is 2025 and I did not expect that a company as big as Samsung would have such poor language support. Even though the phone was bought from the US, I thought any user should be able to download the language packs for the language they speak and it will support them. This is the case with Pixel and Apple. 
I was supposed that when I set Arabic as my default language, the settings are shown in English. It turns out, after small search, Samsung users are suffering from this all over the world. I really did not expect that I have to go to the middle east to buy a Samsung phone that supports Arabic. 
I know this issue is not a big deal to many users, but to me, I am just as a customer as that guy who's language is supported, why should he have a phone which supports his language and not me?

I am returning this phone and getting a Pixel 10 pro which Arabic can be downloaded and supported (I checked). 

Such a disappointment and frustrating.

I had no issue with adding it.  it specifically says (as it does for many languages) that it may not be available in all apps - this would be because the programming of individual apps may not support other languages. I had no problem downloading any of the scripted language packs.  It could be that it was a glitch in your phone, and perhaps you should have tried some troubleshooting steps before returning it.  However, what's done is done, and if you are enjoying your Pixel, that's great.

Great now make it the default language and take a screenshot of the phone settings.
That's what I m talking about.

Sorry, not going to do that.  I don't read Arabic, and I might not get my settings back where I want them.  However, that does *not* mean there wasn't something on your phone interfering.  Sometimes even right out of the box corrective measures may have to be taken.  I am happy you found the proper solution for you.

I'm wondering if you spoke with Samsung tech support about your issue. I mean, in Los Angeles alone there are 200 different languages spoken. You'd think this wouldn't be an issue in the US.

Sounds like they did not, they just went straight to deciding to return the phone, which they absolutely should do if the phone does not meet their needs. I agree, that they should contact tech support prior to doing so, as it may very well be an issue with their particular unit.  I can't imagine if they have full support for certain languages in other regions, it wouldn't be the same for all regions.  If they have a full language pack, it's a full language pack.  But, I don't use any other language.

Odd, I've applied several language packs for languages that I don't speak out of boredom just to see what they look like, and all of them (including Arabic) completely changed everything on my phone to that language. I wonder what caused the issue with your phone 🤔. Regardless, I can imagine how frustrating that must be. 😒 😠 📱.

**bleep** camera... sent it for repair, still has the problem with camera, shaking like crazy with 0.6x
