Has anyone noticed that there has been no app update all week. Usually I get at least one or two app updates on my Galaxy s25 ultra everyday but none so far this week

Galaxy S25I never pay attention to app updates, they either update or they don't. As long as they still work when I open them, I don't care if it's an old or updated version. I have all but one on automatic updates. I think they actually only update once a week, as I get notifications that "one update needs permission" (I'm sure I only get that when that particular app has an update), but otherwise all the other updates take place.

Galaxy S25Situationally aware is when you are about to step off a curb and look both ways. Keeping track of updates, or taking note of when they occur, for apps that are working is not situationally aware. And if you are keeping track of when your updates come down, and you have less than "usual", it probably because the developers of the apps have not made any updates. You only get updates when apps are actually updated.

Galaxy S25If the app is in Deep Sleep Apps or Sleeping Apps (under Settings > Battery & Device Care > Battery), it won’t update automatically.

Galaxy S25There have been times where I have not seen updates on the Galaxy Store for days, if that is more of the care in your observation. But it is almost a guarantee that the Google Play Store will have an app update everyday. I have noticed starting about a year or so that Google no longer (at least in my experiences) provides updates on the weekend if the any update were made on that Friday.

Galaxy S25As @Jules411 said, if your apps are in deep sleep, they will not update until you open them up and wake them. If they are in light sleep, they will only occasionally wake up to look for an update. This is by design. It doesn't really matter what one's average amount of updates is on a daily basis, the fact is apps do not update every single day. Now, if you have 500 apps on your phone, the likelihood is at least one of them will update on any given day, but all 500 of your apps are not updating daily or looking for app updates every single day.
