Google play system still outdated after OneUI 8 stable update

Are you guys still on July Google play system after the OneUI 8 stable update? It doesn't show me any new update for that, is it correct?

I could be wrong here but... I have seen a few times where the Google Play System update supposedly updated and yet the listed date did not change to the new version! I am not sure if there's a way to look deeper somewhere to know for sure what version is actually installed???

I have the S25+ running stable 16 (after starting from BETA 4) and I also am "stuck" on the July 1st version!

How did you try updating? Did you to to Security & Privacy/updates and look for the Play System update or go to the "about phone" software information and tap on the Play System version or did you just go to software update and get nothing?  Google Play System is still on the August 1, update.

You should  have at least gotten the August 1 update.  I don't think it actually came down until about 2 weeks ago. I remember I got it just before the September 1 security update.

Also my s25 still has the July, but i don't get why my A54 has August.

They may have completed the update for the A54 but not the S25 and are still working on it.  Have you gotten Android 16 yet? Perhaps they are integrating it into that for the S25s?  I have an A54 and have the August 1 update.
