I have selected favorite contacts for direct share in Home Up, but they don't show up in the direct share menu when I try sharing a picture. Instead, other contacts show up. Since I've done that, the share menu seems slower, like it's trying to load my settings, and fails so it defaults to the normal settings. I have one UI 8 and the latest update of goodlock and home up.
Power down the phone (press & hold side and volume down buttons until the power off options display).
Then press and hold both the side (power) and volume up buttons at the same time until the recovery screen displays.
Using the volume buttons, move the green highlight over "Wipe cache partition", then press side button. Use the volume button again to highlight "Yes", then press the side button again. It will default to the top "Reboot system now" and press the side button and the phone will restart back normally. See how that works.
