Gallery Search is not as good now on one ui 7

Before one one ui 7 searching for things in my gallery was amazing. It would find anything I was looking for even key words or words in images. Now it can't find a simple image of a credit card for some reason it pops up "cars" then shows me a picture of a sky. Any way to go back to how it was please!

new to S25 Ultra and on my old S23 I was able to search for albums in the search bar and now i start typing and it suggest album names and when I select the correct one it shows me random photos that aren't in that album that I selected.

I hope samsung can fix this and let me search for an exact album and I just see the contents of that album only

I'm curious how many albums you have that you actually need to search for one?   However, if the search function is not working properly on the new phone, you should put in an error report through the support tab of the Members app. You can go into all albums view and then tap the menu to sort your albums alphabetically, which will make them easier to find until they fix the search.

Same here! Cancelled my trade-in and returned the S25 ultra because gallery search does not work the same.

The screenshot is from the S23 Ultra, the picture is the screen of the S25 ultra. The phones have all of the same images, documents and videos.

Searching the gallery on the S23 gives 351 items. Searching the gallery on the S25 gives 3.

Samsung, please don't bring this update to the S23 Ultra!!!

It's always frustrating to find that "upgrades" are just regressed trash. Seem to find a worse version of a feature every other week. This one is about the search features.

I've had the 24, 23, 22, all ultra, whatever, and if I needed an image I could search and find it. If I needed a screenshotted document that I only knew had the number "83" somewhere on it, typing that number in search would find that document. There are examples for days, but now this :sparkles:️AI:sparkles:️ trash that costs us actual SPen features can't find A thing. I needed a cartoon image that was almost only just huge words reading "I guess". Can't find it. Go to search in gallery. "I guess" yields no results. "Guess" yields no results. "Cartoon" just brings up some random smattering of things, some are just pictures of actual real cats. Not once have I used this feature and found what I was looking for. Trash. Absolute trash. Regressed, worse, trash.
