If your face is hitting the record button, it means the proximity sensor is not working and your screen is not turning off. If your screen was off, there would be no way your cheek would hit any button. If the record button was not there, your face could just as easily hit the hang up button. If the screen is not turning off, either because the proximity sensor is not working, or the screen is not timing out quickly enough, put in an error report.

This is unacceptable. I have 3 seconds to click two different times so the phone won't announce to the other party they are being recorded. That's nearly impossible when answering a call when driving.
If Samsung doesn't get this corrected within the next week or so, I'm returning my S25 and making the leap to an iPhone.
It is my understanding the phone does not automatically record, so you shouldn't have to tap anything unless, like the OP, you are holding the phone to your face. If yours is recording automatically, then there must be something in the settings to adjust that. Since I do not yet have the new UI, I cannot check any settings. In any case, if people don't want to talk to you because you are recording the call, apologize and then turn off the recording.

**bleep** you sound like a Samsung SGT. Ppl purchased their phone and can hold it anyway they want whether while with against their face while multitasking, between their legs etc... The icon shouldn't be there & if it needs to be then there should be an option to disable.
Change....your...dialer...app. Simple, no recording, no worries. You are all nitpicking over something that is very, very easily bypassed. If you are going to protest with, "I shouldn't have to download a different app because I paid >$1K)", save that excuse because unless you NEVER downloaded anything other than the native apps to your phone to do a function that you want/need, it does not fly.

Hi is there a way to disable call recording while on a call? My cheek keeps pressing it while I'm on the phone and it's **bleep**g everyone out. I have a s25 ultra.
Lock your screen when you are on a call or use a BT device or put your phone on speaker (I realize this may not be an option in public).

This is annoying. Why is there not an option to remove or disable the call recording icon from call screen? My cheeks is constantly hits call record and people are thinking I'm trying to record our conversation.
