How do I disable and remove the recording calling feature and the icon from the call screen on the S25+?

Oh, my guess is that it was created by a business user -- one who uses BT ear gear. That's the only explanation for the record button NOT to be on the phone panel itself.

Your face shouldn't hit it, the proximity sensor is supposed to lock the screen so that doesn't happen. It's one of the reasons the screen times out so quickly when on a call.  Wear earbuds to make and take calls. It's infinitely more comfortable than putting the phone to your ear.  But, again, it's not supposed to happen.

Why would anyone want to pull out ear buds everything the phone rings? That feature is annoying and I need to know how ro remove it.

Most people who use ear buds keep at least one in all the time so they can answer the phone hands free or without taking the phone out of their pockets, and to listen to music.  It is my understanding, from another post on this forum, that the call recording feature is in a whole other menu from the phone dial pad, so I am at a loss as to how you would be able to activate the recording feature with your cheek. Also, if you don't want to wear ear buds, keep the speaker glued to your ear and that will keep the proximity sensor activated and the screen off.  If the recording feature is an icon on your dial pad, it is being activated by your cheek because you are moving the top part of the phone away from your ear and pressing the lower half against your face.  Once the proximity sensor "sees" light, it figures you are no longer on a call and the screen turns on.  Wear the buds or don't, but keep the phone off your cheek and keep the speaker *on* your ear, not a fraction of an inch away.

My earbuds don't tell me who's beeping in so I have to pull my phone out of my pocket to look at the screen and while pulling the phone out of pocket the record icon gets hit and baaaaammmm call recording. I also surf the net sometimes while on a call so and I should be able to do that if I want with my phone without a button being accidentally hit to record the call
