Finally Found a Solution – Replacing Samsung Dialler with Google Phone
After trying for weeks and just about ready to sell the phone and switch to a Google Pixel or iPhone, I finally found a setup that works.
I’ve replaced the pre-installed Samsung dialler with Google Phone, and it works really well. It does not support call recording, which is actually a plus for me—because when I’m speaking with customers and that annoying “This call is being recorded” message kicks in accidentally, it’s a massive NO-NO.
Hope this helps anyone else in the same situation.
Honestly, it’s such a silly limitation on the default Samsung dialler—how is there no option to disable or hide the call recording button/announcement? Makes no sense.
Just don't use it. It doesn't record automatically, you have to start it manually

I have a new Galaxy S25 Ultra. Frequently the phone has recorded calls without my permission. I have tried to disable it but there is no option to disable or remove the feature. There is a strange-looking app visible while the phone is recording. I took the phone to an authorized Samsung repair shop but they could not remove the app or fix this issue. This is a serious problem. One female friend will not answer my calls because she believes I recorded the call intentionally.
Is there a toggle to turn that off? Open the phone app, the click on the three vertical dots on the top right. The choose settings, record calls and toggle off auto-record calls.
What option? Changing the dialer? You have to download one from the Play store, use Google Phone or Phone by Google (two different apps). They are both phone dialer with the same features as the Samsung dialer, but no recording option.
