Please Samsung bring vibrational feedback when using the fingerprint scanner to unlock your device! 

I feel like this is a huge missing feature from a huge android company that standard OEMs have had for years. I love this feature on my Pixel and OnePlus and this would be a great addition with maybe one UI 8.5. I would also love to see more customization option for the fingerprint unlock animation besides the one we have had for years now.

I remember reading an article somewhere about the stark differences in Eastern and Western UI/UX design sensibilities.

Seems to me that some of the "louder" visual choices (especially when it comes to customization options) are a prime example of that

Valid point. But to compare/contrast two different Eastern approaches, look at the current OnePlus fingerprint animations (each comes with its own sound effect). I wouldn't necessarily describe any of them as "loud," per se. I'd actually call them playful but understated. That's how OxygenOS feels to me. Nothing really slams you in the face. It all just kind of ... flows.

Tried lock star but didn't like the effects. Can't figure out how to turn it off though. Even deleted lock star but it seems just still showing effect on unlocking

There is a default animation. I don't think it was always there. Might be new with One UI 8.
