I just got the Samsung s25 FE. I went to put on the fingerprint scanner and use it but I noticed that my thumb was lighting up. Whenever I activated my thumbprint and I went to not cover the scanner fully and I got nearly blinded. I wish there was a toggle to be able to turn the light down or turn off. Like it's way too bright especially if someone has issues with bright lights. Please Samsung give us an option to turn it off or turn it down.
Your phone has an optical fingerprint reader. As such, it needs the light to read your fingerprint. You will probably have to ensure that you cover the entire area with your finger to keep from being blinded.
