I take Astro Photos with this phone. I recently purchased a clip-on on FiltervtonUse a Band Pass filter to filterbout Artifical Light (Used by most who take Astro photos).
The IR Autofocus Emitter Reflection Issue with Filters Description: Using a clip-on filter with the Galaxy S25 Ultra causes the built-in IR autofocus emitter to produce a visible violet reflection off the filter surface. This occurs in any camera mode with a filter attached, and is especially harmful in Expert RAW
Astrophotography mode. The emitter stays active even in manual focus, and there is currently no way to disable it. Impact: Reflections from the IR emitter degrade image quality, particularly for astrophotography using light pollution or band-pass filters, making them effectively unusable. Recommendation: Provide a setting to toggle the IR autofocus emitter off, either manually or automatically when filters, Expert RAW Astrophotography mode or M Manual Focus is in use. Filter adapters are popular... This is a big problem that should be addressed.
