Can anyone share their experiences with using SmartTag2 trackers? How accurate are they and do you get regular updates? Any success stories with finding items that were misplaced? Any tips or tricks to using them?
You get occasional updates, I wouldn't say regular. SmartTags kind of blend in to the background of life and you tend to forget about them until you need them.
They are useful for ringing misplaced keys around the house.
Tracking actual lost items can prove more difficult. I wish they had Find Hub support so they could be picked up by non-Samsung devices. I find the smaller network of devices that can help track them is the key limiting factor.
If you decide to purchase SmartTags, make sure your phone supports UWB as you cannot use precise location tracking without it.
I use them to track my luggage, keys and wallet. It works good for me, I am able to know exactly where my luggage is. If I left wallet at home I get notified.
@theblackcobra They work great! Pretty much set it up and forget about it until you need to find something. Also great for ringing your phone if you are trying to find that.
@theblackcobra I love mine! I lost my keys one day at Walmart, pulled up the app, and someone found my keys and tossed them out beside the road about 3 miles from Walmart. I went to the location on the map, and it pinpointed the exact spot, so I got my keys back in no time.
