Edge panel and rotating phone.

I'm constantly opening up the edge panel and then slightly tilting my phone causing the phone screen to rotate and the panel going away. Is there anyway to automatically lock the rotation when edge panel is open?

Unfortunately, edge panels don't work in landscape orientation.

Right, I was wondering if there was a way that would stop the phone from going into landscape mode with edge panel open

The only way would be to temporarily toggle off auto rotate to lock it into portrait. There's a quick setting button for that.

From what I read, not sure if it will, UI 8.5 is supposed to introduce in the edge panel landscape view which will only offer three apps to view unless you scroll.

I setup a routine in Modes and Routines to only have certain apps rotate.
