I just upgraded from the S21+ to the S25+

I have my home alarm system notify me if the alarm is triggered.

On my S21+, I could go to the individual category and adjust the volume to max, ONLY for that notification category, without affecting any other notification volume.

When I do this on my S25+, it changes the entire phone's notification volume. What am I doing wrong? I find it hard to believe that Samsung removed this feature. My "manage notification categories for each app" is enabled.

Thank you for your consideration.

No! Posted on another forum too, so if I do find a fix, I will post in here

OK I found a sweet solution w/out having to download a seperate app to do so.

Go to modes & routines & create a routine.
In the "if" section select "notification recieved" (it's in the Event section).
Then click on "apps" and select the apps you want louder notifications for.
Next click "add what this routine will do" & select sound mode & volume and set your volumes.
Click save!

Now whatever apps you have chosen will notify at your desired volume & all other app notification volumes will be whatever the notification volume is set to in settings.

After I get a text message my notification volume stays at 100% instead of returning to my set position.
I need to find a way to end my routine with a "return to status before routine ran" command
