please for the love of god tell me there's a way to stop this. turning off 'scene optimization' doesn't stop it. every time i take a picture in anything other than super bright lighting, it auto enhances and decides for me what it should look like. i hate it so much.

As @meself said, you can only set intelligent optimization to minimum in Photo mode (see screenshot). If you don't want any optimization, you'll have to use Pro mode or another camera app, like Expert RAW (Samsung product found in the Galaxy Store). 1768269502295.jpg

You're welcome. I don't disagree. I think it may get worse with the introduction of more onboard AI in the S26 series.

Yeah, I have been using pro mode specially since the beta, this might help, just go to " setting to keep ">camera mode. That way it can be your " default option " in the meantime, hopefully it will be updated/fixed, minimum used to be good and that has been the only option for years I think
