Please remove the little record button on the call screen. I press it accidentally with my ear on a regular basis and it then starts recording my calls. It is hard to imagine that there was demand for an easy-access button to do record calls -- i have never in my life recorded a call voluntarily; instead it seems like Samsung wants access to the data and information in the recordings, which are by default not even stored on the user's phone. This little button seems like a covert attempt by Samsung to gain customers' personal information and it should be removed or, at minimum, users should have the option to remove it.

You're not locked into using the Samsung dialer. You can install a different one, such as Phone by Google (which has superior spam filtering imo).

But if you want to continue using the stock dialer, submit feedback about the call recording button:

This is a ridiculous assumption, Samsung is not listening to the recordings that are ONLY STORED on your phone.

I have never accidentally activated the call record button. When I am on the phone with any customer service I record that call for my protection. So later I can refer to that call and say, yes, you did say this, here is the proof.

It is not designed to steal your information. It was added for the convenience of, and at the request of, a multitude of users. The recordings remain solely on your phone and you can delete any recording at any time.  The button placement, however, must have been decided by a really lazy designer/programmer who did not want to put it in the logical place right on the dial pad.

This record button is and was a mistake! There may be users who want it, but as you can see, there are many users who dont and would like the capability to just remove the app. If this is going to be a problem, then so long, and I and many users will move away from Samaung! Just give the capability to remove the record button!

You can remove the app.  Just replace the Samsung Phone dialer with Phone by Google and your recording feature is gone.  You can then hide the Samsung dialer and replace the icon in your favorites bar with the new dialer app.

This voice recording feature started with my phone this weekend and is annoying. Immediately, I tried to cut it off, look for videos on YT to get rid of it. The person who I was on the phone with even heard the announcement that "this call is being recorded ." I don't t think this was well thought thru. I want it gone. 🙄🤬
