Bring back ALL notification icons in status bar!!!!

Come on!!! Are you serious? I just switched back from iPhone to Android so I can see the notification icons at the top!!! And now you doing this Too?? Only 3 icons ?? Come on!!!!!!! At least let me change it with setedit app! Stop copying apple!! Stop copying hyper os! 3 is not enough at least let me show 8 icons!!!!

I believe this was a Google mandate, you need to speak to Google.

Actually other Android devices allow more than the three. Is there is a limitation, it is the device maker that sets that.

Google's limit was to allow Live Notifications. Samsung limited it to 3 for their Now Bar implementation.

That is the limit for UI 7 and 8 (I do not know about earlier versions). If not really happy with the device and it was received within the last 14 days, it can be returned no questions asked for a full refund. I know OnePlus devices allow more icons. I am unsure of the Pixel devices, but those are options if that particular feature is a must have.

This is a user-to-user tech support forum. No one in charge of decision-making at Samsung monitors what is posted here and users here are generally not Samsung employees.

The decision to keep the status bar clean rather than cluttered has to do with the implementation of now bar/ live notifications.

I am not sure how you would even fit 8 icons. When full with 3 icons + live notification, it goes all the way to the hole punch and uses all available space.

Perhaps you could contact Good Lock team and request it as an option in QuickStar.

Some of us prefer our status bar clean. All I want up there is the time and the still ugly battery pill 💊

I have a hard time understanding why they need to see more than three notification icons anyway.  Once you see one, you know you have to pull the notification shade down and look, so what's the point of having 8 or 20?  I also prefer to keep my notification area clean, so when I get notifications, I pull down the shade, read the notifications and dismiss them so that I don't have a mile long chain of notifications.

This! it is a simple 'must do' funciton to see the notifications regardless of the icons shown in the status bar. The status bar does not show what is in those notifications, only the that the icons may be indicative of the app giving the notifications. One has to pull down on the notification shade anyway to see them all. So, status icons are limited but still there, still expresses that there are notification to be read, that cannot be read directly from the status bar.
