I have s25 ultra .. and i m typing under direct sunlight . I can barely see text that m typing .

This happens 90% of the times . Please give a decent and an acceptable reply .. and samsung Please dont say overheating issues . If i cant read it under direct sunlight , then why do you (samsung guys) promote it as brightest AMOLED .??

I had same problem with s24 ultra and Zfold 6.

My wife has s23 ultra and it outperforms my s25 ultra in direct sunlight  . Which this device [s25 ultra] is bragged about.

The nature of electronic screens (from the earliest days of digital cameras, digital watches, and phones) is that they are never bright enough to be seen well in direct sunlight.  This is due to a combination of factors, such as the reflection of sunlight off the screen, the relative dimness of even the brightest of LEDs.  The only way you are going to get a screen bright enough to be seen in direct sunlight is to  either switch to black and white (a la Kindle's paperwhite), try a matte screen protector, or if they start making phones with those superbright LEDs that they use on billboards (which is never going to happen).

How much do you use your phone in direct sunlight? If it's a lot, it could be that the phone is being pushed too hard to sustain that level of brightness for an extended period of time. If the phone starts to overheat, thermal management would first dial down the brightness.

This "problem" you are facing, everyone actually has it. My screen dims when under lots of light. Maybe for vision things. How can you text under direct sunlight?

Device is getting hot so it intelligently will lower the brightness.

This may sound stupid to everyone and it isn't technical but I just angle my phone a little bit different and I have no problem typing.
