My device used to auto connect to generic BT adapter in my vehicle, but I was going through settings in paired devices to turn off calls function and only allowed audio, when I fumbled my phone and accidentally hit auto connection off. Now every time I get in my vehicle, I have to turn on phone, go to BT, and select my car to connect. Device still auto connects to all other devices. I've deleted the device and paired, but still don't auto connect. I've searched how to auto connect back on, but all I can find is how to turn it off. I don't want to buy another BT adapter because auto connect won't turn back on for this one.
Ok, issue remains. When I go to settings, with options to select audio and calls. I turn off calls function, and auto connect turns off again. It's a Bluetooth adapter FM emitter. I have an 07 Ford expedition with no auxiliary connection. The radio antenna is in the farthest window back. To keep static down to minimum, the adapter is about 6" from window. And can't hear me. I hate my phone going off while driving, and rare occasion I have to actually answer my phone, I forget about Bluetooth connection to calls, and hang up because no one on line responding.
I want auto connect, without calls. Today I got a call, and turned off calls function, making sure I didn't turn off anything else, and auto connect turned off again. Had to reset Bluetooth and pair again. But I know this is going to end up in a never ending struggle of frustration.
Recently upgraded from an S23 Ultra to S25 Ultra. Old phone would automatically pair with Honda Jazz Bluetooth but S25 is inconsistant. Got it to auto pair but now reverted again to pairing without phone; only audio. Old phone had no issues but S25 connection is very unreliable. Tried deleting pairing but no reliable rewolution. Is it a Samsung or Honda problem, don't know?
