I've noticed a tremendous difference with the Bluetooth audio volume quality since upgrading from my S21 Ultra to the S25 Ultra. The volume has dropped insanely low across all my connected devices with the most noticeable being my car stereo, portable speakers, and Galaxy buds3 Pro. I can literally turn my car stereo volume up to the max with my Bluetooth volume to the max (which I couldn't before with my S21 Ultra because of it being extremely loud) and it sounds like it's only at 50% volume. The same thing with my Galaxy buds3 which I could tell immediately and what I was most looking forward to using, but now they spend a lot of time in the case instead of my ears sadly. I've already tried everything I've come across in other community posts that claim the issue is "solved" but the problem remains the same. At this point I am hoping that an update is released that corrects this issue directly.

Yes, I have found this too. I sometimes use my S23 Ultra to load retro games into an old computer, after the update the volume over Bluetooth just doesn't get loud enough to work. Still works fine on my old S10 and only been an issue since One UI 7.

Please give credit to this user. I followed his instructions, and both pairs of my buds sound quality back to their normal loudness.1748482304354.jpg

I have this problem too with a pair of Lenovo thinkplus xt88 ear buds.  Before the Android 15 and one UI 7.0 update I had not ever noticed any issues with these earbuds.  A second set of earbuds no idea who the manufacturer is but they identify as F9.  Before and after the update the F9's will blow your ears drums out at max volume.

I tried the procedure you suggested and it did make a difference with the XT88's but the volume is still low and giving maybe a 10% boost at best.

While working on this I did notice that the two sets of earbuds were using different codecs. The XT88 uses the AAC codec while the F9 uses the SBC codec.  Has there been a change made in the AAC codec causing the problem?

I just realized this is a Galaxy s25 thread. I'm using a Galaxy a53. Which is why I'm just finding this issue this week as I just got the update.

Since my s21 ultra updated to One UI 7.0 my galaxy buds 3fe are extremely quiet, the were fine until that update forced it's way threw, I had been not letting it update, now the whole phone looks different and nothing is set up right, I do not like it, should not be forced to update, I prefer how it was before but now that's not a option

Same issue, my galaxy buds are practically useless now 🙄

I'm so sick of these updates making my $2000 phone WORSE! This is the 3rd bad update from Samsung, I'm about done with them.
