I have a routine set up for when I'm connected to my car to disconnect Bluetooth when I get an incoming call. It works perfectly.

i am trying to set it up where once the routine aka phone call ends to turn the Bluetooth back on so it will connect by itself to the Bluetooth device. It doesn't work and I have to manually turn Bluetooth back on in my pulldown quick menu and manually reconnect it to the device.

What am I missing?

What is the point of connecting to the car via BT if you are not going to take hands free calls via the car speakers?  In any case, your routine looks fine and the car should actually reconnect automatically after the call is done and the car detects the BT device.  You can change the "when routine ends" to do a custom action and turn  turn BT on.  That should insure the BT reconnects to the car.

You must live in a state where that's not illegal. Unless you are normally travelling with passengers who should not hear your conversations, there is no reason not to take the call through the car's speakers; and if the conversation is private, it's an easy matter to transfer the call back to the handset when you pick it up.  In any case, changing the end routine should work to ensure the BT is turned back on, and once the BT is turned back on, the transmitter should automatically connect.

Everyone has different circumstances. My car's bt does not function well. If I'm driving above 60 mph it's very hard for people on the other end of the phone to understand me. Apparently there's a road noise issue. So I also do not take calls via Bluetooth.

Road noise?  Are you driving with the windows open or have a particularly noisy car? You think it's safer to drive at 60 mph while fumbling for your phone to answer the call and then drive with your head cocked and the phone to your ear?  Where do you drive so I can stay off the road?
