I just made a complete switch from Asus Wi-Fi 7 mesh to Eero 7 Max mesh because the wifi kept disconnecting and reconnecting on our phones.

The issue continued then after researching, it appears there are TONS of reports of Samsung having issues with wifi disconnects on WiFi 7 and our phones were all in the s25 family but unfortunately I didn't put two and two together and blamed the networking hardware. I also see these issues have been reported on the S24 and have been consistent for over a year. Does Samsung have any plans to address this issue or are people better off switching to another manufacturer if they wish to be able to use future technologies (wifi 7 isn't even new at this point)

Have you tried resetting the devices involved (router, then phone, mesh)?

I am assuming no other non-Samsung node on the network is disconnecting, correct? However, try changing your security protocol, to say WPA-2 instead of -3. If you're already on -2, make the Wi-Fi password a complex one with at least 13 characters. Do not use WPS, and hopefully, you're not using default security settings on the routers. If you're using DHCP, increase the lease time to no less than 7 days - 10080 minutes or a number slightly less.

Also, separate your bands instead of allowing the router to choose the best frequency for the devices and make them separate networks with unique passwords and SSIDs. Try each to see what happens.

This is pending an update from Samsung, though.

The Eero requires WPA3 for Wi-Fi 7, WPA3 can be disabled for devices using other generations of Wi-Fi but it requires WPA3 for Wi-Fi 7. I also have limited advanced settings with Eero

One of the reasons I don't use routers with only an app setup option is because more advanced settings are not available while using the app. Once WPA3 is configured for a band, that becomes the default protocol, unless you select WPA2/WPA3 option. Ironically, my apple devices were doing the same thing with WPA3 but have maintained a stable connection with WPA2. It's unfortunate that some devices are yet to be fully compatible with WPA3, though it has been available for years now.

Send a report/feedback if you have not done so already.
