5/27/25 Samsung messaging rcs working on Verizon

Today in the Samsung Galaxy store, I received an update for the Samsung Messaging app, after updating the application, I noticed that rcs was enabled and i confirmed that it was working for Verizon.

This is great news it's a lot more customizable than Google messages and actually changes the font to your system font. 

Chat features are available and you can see when someone is typing!

Samsung Messages RCS has been working for a long time.

It wasn't working for me just a month ago. I tried it, it didn't even have the option

It never stopped for years, and I have Verizon, too. What option? You mean chat features?

Yes the chat features. The messages would just send as sms

You just need to activate it and it takes time
Sometimes up to 2 days

On s25ultra I have tried everything to get RCS chat to work on this phone but verizon no longer sport RCS for samsung messages as of today 10/21/25 and it was working before I was stupid to download Google messages and start RCS with Google app thats when it stop samsung messages chat feature

No there is no other option if u have verizon service

Verizon no sport samsung messages RCS chat doesn't work I have tried it I like samsung messages because i can customize the background and fonts
