Update changed the appearance on my Galaxy S24

After the update my galaxy s24 forcibly changed my display with very cheap looking art which I don't like. And it cannot be changed or altered. Too bad indeed!

What are you talking about? Wallpapers can always be changed, themes can be changed, icon packs can be changed, the order of icons on your screen can be changed (unless you have screen lock on)  If you have something on your display that can't  be changed, it could have been put there by some rogue app or your carrier.  Can you provide a screen shot?

Do you have a custom launcher? That may be the reason.

You can change your wallpaper.

I don't know what your screen looked like before.  You can change the background color of your folders, and most widgets have different transparency settings than prior to OneUI7, but you can still adjust the background.  As I said, custom icon packs or custom themes is possible.  The wallpaper did not come from Samsung.
