Galaxy S24Make sure you have accidental touch protection turned on and also turn off touch sensitivity. Both settings are located in the display settings. You don't need touch sensitivity on, even if using a screen protector, if the screen is responding to your touches normally.

Galaxy S24Find a sheath or full body case for it then, or keep it out of your pocket.

Galaxy S24What kind of advice is this? Where should I keep my phone when walking outside? Why do I need a special case for that? Two settings attempt to prevent that, and they are not working. Samsung definitely needs to FIX this.

Galaxy S24Because even the most basic of silicone cases will recess the screen and prevent your slacks or thighs from touching/rubbing against/swiping the screen. That's why. Cases are for the protection of your phone. If you choose not to protect your investment, then everything that happens to it is on you.

Galaxy S24A case is not mandatory to use the phone.
If we have two options that SHOULD minimize accidental touches, why do they not work?
If Samsung chooses to have non-working features, it's on them, and they MUST do something about it.

Galaxy S24No, it's not mandatory, it's practical and any third grader knows you protect your stuff. I'd be willing to bet real money that anyone having this issue has their phone in their pocket naked. It doesn't matter accidental touch protection being on or touch sensitivity being disabled - if the screen registers a touch, it's going to do something. People go on about the expense of their phones; which they voluntarily paid; but won't spend $10 to protect them.

Galaxy S24I like to use my phone the way the manufacturer decided to produce it - without a case. If you have two left hands and can't hold a phone without dropping it, it's on you.
So we just have some features to inflate the price of the phone and look highly sophisticated, and that's that? This starts to look like Apple Intelligence; it's there, but it's not working at all.
Ha ha, shame on Samsung.
