Turn off notifications from spam texts only

Is it possible to turn off notifications for spam texts, and but regular texts?

Turn on spam perfection, and it will stop notifications and send all to spam drawer

They do go to spam folder, but I keep getting the balloon at the top of my screen.

Think it's alerted to have you check the spam to see if it isn't to change it flagging from a contract for example oddly I had my carriers text in spam or show as possible spam before I added to contract

Try going to the notification settings/categories and in the "other" section turn off the notification for spam protection and see if that helps.

I don't have that setting.

If i go to phone settings / notifications, i didn't have a settings/categories under that.

You have to enable notification categories. Go to the phone settings/notifications/advanced settings/manage notification categories for all apps. Then you will see the categories when you return to the app settings.
