They heard you, Samsung has brought back the ability to hide your Navigation Bar and Swipe Gestures.

You will have to download Goodlock and specially NavStar once installed toggled on NavStar, Enable extra gesture settings.

Go to settings. Display, navigation, show more, have fun again.

Ps. If you already have both apps and you are not seeing those options, Open Goodlick again scroll to NavStar, tap on the more, go to store, there will be an update waiting. For some reason it isn't showing up in updates

Gestures do work, but they are different and Samsung didn't explain a major feature change like that at all.

I WILL however add my voice to the "please let us hide the gesture hints again" crowd.
I don't need a bar hint to remind me the excellent google circle search is awaiting me there. 😉

The gestures aren't exactly different, they just removed one of the options. You used to be able to choose Samsung legacy gestures, or the stock Android gestures that every other Android phone uses. Now the stock Google gestures are the only ones present.

Everyone who pre-ordered. You have 15 days to return the phone. I would advise returning it. Maybe Samsung will rethink their decision if removing swipe from bottom when the phone sales fail enough

Yeah, record breaking sales numbers, backordered now till March? People would be pretty stupid to loose the preorder incentives and then wait two months before they can replace them.
