Ive been waiting for a good 3-ish months for this OneUI update, checking every day to see if I'm lucky, but to no avail. I have a Unlocked S24 Base model connected to assurance wireless, now I dont know if that has anything to do with the speed of the rollout for phones connected to this plan, but if anything I know, is that OneUI 8.5 is going to release before I even touch a pixel of OneUI 8, I am **bleep**.
I suggest looking for a guide specific to the S24 series. A good guide will have download links for everything you need (drivers, Odin, firmware, etc). XDA Developers is a great resource. Make sure you download U1 (factory unlocked) firmware specific to your device.
Also review YT videos on how to flash stock firmware (also called stock ROM). Seeing how it's done is a lot more helpful than just reading about it.
Make sure you back up all your data before you attempt anything. If you feel uncomfortable about any of this after reading guides and watching videos, don't go through with it! Contact a repair center for the service. Good luck!
