Galaxy S24I just got a new S24 FE and it updated to UI 7. Previously I had an Galaxy A52 on UI 6 and I loved everything about it. Components started going out and Xfinity no longer offered the phone. Upgrading has been awful so far, but I really want to love the phone.
I'm not sure why they chose to take away (or hide) some of the options. This new UI is clunky. I tried reducing animations, but it's still slow.
1) The battery icon indicator is really hard to read. Is there a way to get back the format from UI 6? It's almost impossible to read.
2) Game Booster used to have a setting to silence notifications while a game was running. With UI 7, many games crash every time you get a notification. Did Modes and Routines replace this? If we set up the mode, can we hide the game icon and the DND icon that show up at the top of the phone? Also, how can we turn off the notice about DND from the notification screen (it's easy to tap by mistake and accidentally turn off the mode, which is a problem).
3) Where did the option go to have notification icons below the clock? I only see having them up top or bubbles below. These options are truly terrible when I just want a quick glance to see if it's something urgent, or just something to review later.
4) In the notification drop down, when there are multiple items from the same app, there is now just a number. How can I stack them instead?
Thank you!

Galaxy S241) The battery indicator is supposedly getting a small enhancement in One UI 8. Until then, you'll have to use a battery widget or alternative battery app (I use PowerLine) for readability.
2) Someone else will have to weigh in on this.
3) This is a truly ridiculous change imo. Lockscreen icon notifications are now useless. You can submit feedback to Samsung about it.

4) This is a Google-driven change. If you tap the combined notification, it will expand them.

Galaxy S24Game Booster I can't answer too.
Notification area of the status bar, is now limited to 3 icons, to make way for Live Notifications. This is a Google edit, as it is the exact same on my Pixel 9proXl. The stacking of Notifications in the shade is also a Google thing. You will have to get used to tapping the stack to expand it. Personally, I love this.
