Why was the 'lock after exit' option removed from secure folder? This was an absolutely necessary option and now it's no longer available, at least on oneui beta. BRING IT BACK OR CREATE A PROPER APP LOCK

It's not. It's just kind of buried.

From the main screen tap the More icon (three vertical dots), then tap 'Lock and exit'.

This option used to be automatic instead of a manual selection. The app would auto lock upon being exited opposed to now having to consciously select it. They 'fixed' something that was never broken

I can see your point, but my views on this are different and I'm glad they made this change.

It could be because many people are constantly in and out of their secure folder and don't want to have to unlock it each time when the phone is in their own hand. This change might have been made due to user feedback from those that had to unlock their secure folder while they were still utilizung it, even if they switched to non secure apps. It's much easier to keep it unlocked and lock it when you want to. Much the same way as utilizing extend unlock. I would assume there's some kind of time out period where it would lock if not reopened after a while.

Which is why the other options existed. My complaint is the removal of the immediate lock OPTION.

But the option is still there, they just changed how it's accessed. Send your own feedback

No, it's NOT. That's the WHOLE point of this thread, because the option has been COMPLETELY REMOVED.
JFC How is this so hard for people to understand?

Now it doesn't have the option to lock as soon as you get out of it... You have to turn off the screen, it doesn't make any sense bc if you don't, then anyone can go into the app😭😭😭😭
