Whenever I press the side button or tap my screen to turn it on, it'll either flash green for a second then go black, or have green and white lines flashing across it. The screen sometimes won't turn on, and my phone is starting to overheat. I've restarted my phone, booted it into safe mode and ran the diagnostics and it still happens. I got this phone back in November. Is it worth replacing the screen or getting a new phone entirely?

Hey there, 👋 I have that phone as well and I have never seen that happen. I would be concerned that something is going on with the battery. I would definitely take it in and possibly get a new one to replace it. Sorry to hear about that because they are very expensive! Good luck

Try wiping the "cache partition" to see if that helps. It's safe and won't remove your settings or app files. Clearing the "cache partition" can help resolve any issues caused by old or corrupted system cache data.
It may help or may not, but it worth a shot.

Follow the steps below,

Clear the cache partition
- Turn the phone off (shut down)
- Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the side key.
- When the Android system recovery menu options show release buttons.
- Press the volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
- Press the side key to select.
- Press the volume down key to highlight yes, then press the side key to select.
- When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system is now highlighted.
- Press the side key to restart the device.

Im pretty sure it is a defective screen. 99.9% on that. Anytime you have green lines and flashes its usually the connector cables. Good luck ✌🏻
